About Me!

Hewwo, hewwo! As stated on our landing page, you may call me Lucifer/Mars! I'll have a fancy little portrait set up here eventually, but for the time being, you're getting text and some fursona refs. And decoration, obvsy. It's nice to meet you!

What's this dog's deal?

Wonderful question, thank you for asking ! As my many blinkies and buttons—and the usage of dog—imply, I am a therian! Specifically, I'm an animal alter in a system. I have a couple theriotypes, but most namely wolves and alaskan malamutes. I also do not consider myself human to any capacity—a werewolf, perhaps, but not a human. Call me a dog or don't call me at all! I'm not your dog, though, obvsy. I am not to be puppied or pet by anyone but friends of myself and my mate.

Aside from that, this dog is many things !! Queer, trans, plural, disabled. A kinkster, a dyke, a furry, a feedist. All of which I am very proudly, and am working on being very loudly.

Okay, but like, what do you do?

Mostly art !! Which I sort of group this website under. Jack of all trades, master of none—I do writing, both prose, poetry, and songwriting, I do digital and traditional art, I make jewelry and kandi, and I scrapbook. I also play guitar, ukulele, and a bit of piano, and I've been taking vocal lessons + performing for 8+ years :]!!! I also spend an egregious amount of time on analysing any and all media I like, even if I. Have yet to get myself to post any of it. Perhaps this'll help with that, once I get the blog set up.

Why the website?

Three things, mainly: customizability, a hatred for the watchful eye of social media (despite my time spent on it), and the horrific amount of censorship being enforced around the web. I wanted a space to call my own away from all of that—and perhaps I will never fully be away from it, by virtue of how some of that is socially enforced, not just enforced by moderation and dumbass bills, but I wanted to give it a go. Here, I can carve out a place for myself and freaks like me to exist happily, and if I can meet people like me in the process that'd be pretty neat, I think.

I did not grow up in the era of personal websites like others did—freshly 18, hi—so a lot of this is new territory for me. I'm a bit more tech illiterate than I'd like to be, and working on this feels like it's improving that. I also learn a lot from others along the way, and that's pretty neat !!
